Incident during Clinton’s visit at the European Parliament

US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, was in the European Parliament yesterday to meet with President Jerzy Buzek and political group leaders. Although the entire visit went well, it ended with a bit of a scare for the security services on the scene.

As a spokesperson confided: “President Buzek has always been a bit of a practical joker but no one though he’d pull a prank during such an important visit”. From sources present at the time of the incident, it seems the Polish President said to Ms Clinton that several incidents had occurred in the EP in the past due to people falling through faulty windows, after which he gave her a push as she was leaning in front of such a window on the 14th floor, as evidenced by the picture below. though the security agents present were far from amused, it seems Ms Clinton laughed goodheartedly at the joke. As one of Buzek’s aides told the BJ: “Well, at least we were able to convince him that offering Hillary a box of cigars was not very appropriate”.
