Many questions are asked about the BJ: who “hides” behind our paper, what is the secret agenda, how can it be possible that after only weeks of existence, close to a hundred articles have been written by a handful of volunteer contributors…

But maybe the answer lies in small signs,  not big statements.

Think about it: the Brussels Jungle, aka the BJ and…the European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek, aka JB.

But more importantly, open your eyes, and compare the small logo (i.e. favicon) at the top of the website of President Buzek, with the one used by the Brussels Jungle:

And then just consider that on 14 July 1919, Lino (nickname of our rhino mascotte and your humble editor) Ventura (Italian actor that played mainly in French movies) was born and on that same date 90 years later, namely in 2009, the European Parliament elected a certain Jerzy Buzek as the chamber’s president ….scary, huh!

But the main questioncould be: is there a real link, or is this the start of a new theory, a kind of “Six Degrees of Lino and/or the BJ” in line with the “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” theory..and could it be true rhinoceros meat tastes like porc which brings us all back to…bacon!
