Aiming at Europe?

Twitter is buzzing with tweets signalling that a robbery took place in the cafeteria of the European Parliament, after MEP Alexender Alvaro sent out a short message stating “Another robbery at the European Parliament – how is it possible?”

The BJ has however received a claim from a certain “Robin EUd” stating that he was behind the attack directed at the catering company. In a video message received by anonymous email by the BJ, the hooded individual states “seeing what they charge for sponge sandwiches and a variety of choice between crappy dishes which they expose at the entrance so that the effect of time on vacuum frozen food is visible to all visitors, I, Robin EUd have decided to rob the robbers”.

It is unclear if this claim is legitimate, the security services of the EP not responding to any request.

Updated news – 17:10: the BJ reporters were told extra security services have been deployed around all EU institutions cafeterias. No spokespeople were available for comments but we were told unofficially that seeing the food is equally crap everywhere, the likelihood of further attacks seemed too big to ignore.
