Liberation Front strikes again

Across the world, gardens, houses and entire buildings have been struck yet again by a savage attack that repeats itself every year around the same period: a massive freeing of easter chocolate eggs, left to rampage our landscapes with their shiny aluminium foil or even worse, simply “au naturel” with the inherent risks of sudden death by melting.

The well-known phenomenon has been claimed by the “Front de Liberation des Oeufs de Paques” or “FLOP” (Easter Eggs Liberation Front), which issued a statement sent to all major newspapers (including obviously the BJ):

“At a time where millions of chocolate eggs are being horded and imprisoned in vast factories, often months if not years in advance, and decorated with some of the most idiotic drawings (a bunny with a pipe pushing a wheelbarrow?), the FLOP has struck again by giving a moment of freedom to these oppressed beings. As always, the forces of oppression have put in place a massive operation of “eggs’ gathering”, sending to the front their youngest and weakest, in a mission to find all eggs, put them neatly in a basket and destroy them violently by chewing them if possible with collateral damage of stains to clothing. The FLOP will not abandon its mission as it knows that in due time, as its fight continues, increasing health concerns by food ayatollahs will mean parents will no longer allow their kids to participate in such a chocolate nightmare”.
