European water companies to attack florists and coffee makers
Water companies across Europe are following the lead of their telecoms sisters and brothers by calling for an end to all those free riders using their infrastructure without even paying them!
Following reports in the Financial Times that the CEOs of some of the leading European telecommunications companies, including Telefonica, Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom, have called for Google to start paying them for carrying content such as YouTube videos on their networks, the Water Transportation Federation (or “WTF” for short) convened a press conference to share their discontent.
“It is absolutely outrageous”, stated an obviously irate Malcom Steemy, Chairman and President of WTF, “coffee makers, florists, pasta companies…all these guys want to turn us into dumb pipes while they sell they make a profit, selling goods that would be of no use whatsoever if we didn’t deliver the needed water. Today, there is a winner: it’s Columbian coffee, Barilla and soap and shampoo suppliers. And there are victims that are water providers. We cannot accept this. We cannot offer our networks for free.”
When asked if the fact that users paid to receive water was not sufficient and if the fact that water could be used to make all of these goods was not a factor that made water supply attractive to consumers, Mr Steemy put an end to the press conference.

Very good comparison indeed.
But to go further into that, you should add that the coffee makers have started all that, making a buzz on a subject where nobody complained (the users had their coffee without problem, and the water companies could deliver water without problem, dealing without problem with coffee makers where there was a special demand for a bigger pipe).
They were the one asking for governments and parlements to regulate water company much more, and impose them to build bigger pipes everywhere, without any increase in price for the users, but based on principle such as Liberty and Human Rights, and Democraty.
And now they complain that the boomerang comes back? Funny !
My cousin recommended this blog and she was totally right keep up the fantastic work!
